July 10 2014 - July 10 2015 ten trades. (if you just want to look at the last YTD there were Thats a lot of trades no matter how you look at it. So I'm wondering, how many trades will Trader Danny pull off this year?

No way he could top last year right? That has to be close to an NBA record* if it isn't. I think we are getting a little closer to where we need to be and so there should be less trades. But we still have a lot of guys that could walk next year. It might be easier to look at what guys Danny probably doesn't want to trade. I'm thinking Smart, AB, Crowder, IT and maybe Zeller if he signs an extension on the cheap.

My guess? I think it will be a slow year for Ainge, only 5 trades.

Ainge improves the team in the meantime until he can pounce, I think he learned a lot when Harden left and wants to be ready to pounce.   I think the trouble is, that other teams are not that high on our assets presently and everyone is waiting to see the new cap.

Yeah Lebron is not unbeatable and neither are the cavs. I don't think waiting him out is the plan A. Ainge has a lot of work to do, but a well balanced team with some star power can take out the cavs.

I don't expect there to be 22 guys coming and/or going from this roster, but I do expect more deals to be made this season. Particularly in the frontcourt. Sully/Zeller/Olynyk/Mickey are all decent but none of them are cornerstone players. We need that franchise big hence why I don't see the Celtics keeping all 4 of them in the future.

Yeah its hards to say when the best time to make the year is. I guess at the start or end of the offseason.

The LeBron era is over (if it ever even was dubbed the LeBron era and not the Duncan/Kobe era).

He's turning 31, he might still be better than Durant and Davis for another year or two, but I doubt he's winning another title.

For him to be THE MAN ..the guy that can carry the team.....this might be the swan song year , possibly next year anyway  .....if he stays healthy.......if he wins more rings ,  he'll have to get better help than he has now ......like Anthony Davis

This could be do or die season for LeBron coached owned team that is all his.   .......he may have to share in the glory ....team up with other mega stars to get it done after this year.
