i'd love to see PP win another ring. IMO, late in an NBA player's career, he can do two things:

1. Sign on a contender for one more moment of glory
2. Play out the rest of your career in front of a home crowd who loves you

Pierce went one way. KG went the other. Either way, I'm happy for them and I'm glad we were a part of their HoF career.

He kind of got a little bit of option 2 as well as LA is home to him and the Clips have Doc and of course Big Baby (they still have him right?) If Doc was still here and not in LA, I wonder if that would have changed Paul's decision.

To the comment about him coming back next year, I bet he can still play next year. I bet he can probably still have a spot in the league for a few year if he really wants to. His game not is based on smart play not jumping out of the gym or winning a foot race. the overall shift in the league as far as positions go letting him play the 4 probably gave him another few years if he wants them.
