I wouldn't have cared if they had drafted Deez Nuts at 45.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
top 3/5 athlete in the combine. Solid efficiency/advanced stats as most of Danny's rookies tend to have.
I guess they figured they could have a Brandon Knight kind of player and they figured he was the best one of those available.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

What a waste. Yes it was the 45th pick but another pg? And not even a pure pg. Another sg in a pg body.  Its either a sg in a pg body or a pg trapped in a pg body (Olynyk) lol.

Danny should of drafted a promising Euro player with the 45. Eveb Dakari Johnson and shipping him to overseas would of made more sense
first, who give a crap? it is pick #45.

second, you slam thornton because he is a pg. then slam him because is not a pg but really a sg.

third, let's see the impact johnson has as an nba player. as for the "promising euro" point, really too vague to make anything out of this.

fourth, given all the talk on this blog about how CBS does NOT think in terms of pg, sg, etc. your protest seems weak.

ok folks, let's move it along. nothing here to see.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
