Based on a 4 year contract. I think if you could sign him at 4 years 25 million it wouldn't be a horrendous contact.
Question is would you even want the Celtics signing him for that much knowing he will slow other key Young players developments.

I don't think anyone will give Turner a longer contract than a 1-2 year deal.

So I will take the under.

^ This.

$6 million a year?  Totally reasonable. 4 years?  No way.

The last several contracts for ET have been 1 year deals so unless he posts massive numbers (doubtful) then he will probably get a 2 year deal for $10M-$12M with a player option or team option after Year 1.

I wouldn't not sign him if he played for free.  It's not that he is blocking young guys.  It's that he isn't that good, considering he needs the ball to be effective.

he won't get 4 years.  not good enough.  he'll get 2 max.  nothing more than whatever the MLE is either and unless he looks really good this year, he's likely to get 2/3 the MLE at most from someone

The longest he'll get is 2 years with a team option for 1 more year.  I think Turner is somewhere in the range of 3 to 5 million a year.  I'd be willing to sign Turner for 3.5 million a year.  He fills a lot of wholes as a player that can play 1-3.  Plus he's a good ball handler and can be a hot scorer if he gets on a roll.  Also he's still a young player.  With the cap going up I think though he'll get around 4 to 5 million a year from someone, but only at 2 to 3 years only.

I will take the under and I'll hire whoever takes the over to keep the grounds on the estate I purchase with my winnings.

Never underestimate the power of inept franchises. I would not be surprised if next off-season Sacramento panics from Rondo's potential departure after a great season and splurges on ET to make up for it.

Otherwise I don't see anyone really investing that much money and/or that many years in Evan.

Yeah, thirded.  The $ per year isn't too crazy, but not for that length of time.

What? Turner has had 2 NBA contracts in his career, his rookie contract (4 years), and his current contract (2 years)

That's his current salary, and most people think he's underpaid.  With the cap about to go up, he's gonna make a LOT more than that

My apologies! I didn't do the research. Was just pulling it off the top of my head.

Just so his next contract is not here.
