Just to be clear, is Maker in this year's draft or in 2017? I've heard that he may be reclassifying to 2016 but others say he's still going in 2017.

In a crazy world where the top 5 pick was guaranteed and the 76ers were offering us this deal right now, yeah I'd take it. I do believe that Noel will be the NBA's best defensive player and that he'll make a huge impact in 2016-2017.

I would trust Ainge selecting someone great with a Top 5 pick. I wouldn't want to trade it for Noel unless the draft is extremely underwhelming.

In a vacuum, I'd say Noel is worth trading a #5 pick for. But I don't really know what next year's draft looks like outside of the top 2 so I couldn't say he'd be worth next year's #5.

Next year's draft is a long way away.  We will know a lot more about Noel after another year of basketball.  It depends on his growth and his health.  If he looks to be a worse rebounding Chandler then probably not, depending on what the draft looks like.

In that case Noel looks a lot better.
What intrigues me about Noel is his quickness, and athleticism as a defender. He would fit into what CBS is trying to do. His scoring ability will be ok, we can get scoring from other positions.
I need to get more familiar with the 2016 draft.

That's a tough one. I guess it would depend on how the draft looked, but I'd probably do it

He's probably going to be a more versatile defender than Chandler, and he's already flashing a face up game/excellent passing on offense.

He doubled Chandler's career AST% this year.

Did chandler ever get a few steals per game like noel? His rookie stats last year was actually amazing.
Wasnt he the firsst rookie to average above 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game since David Robinson?
