David lee did that all the time before the Warriors benched him for Green. I'm pretty sure he's still capable of putting up those stats.

Sullinger has done that several times in his career. Bradleys had quite a few stretches putting up those kind of points. Kelly Olynyk has been able to do that. Heck, remember when Jordan Crawford was putting up those stats for us back in 2013? PJIII has done it only once since coming into the league. Granted that's not his fault because Brooks didn't trust him, but still that was 3 games. That's not enough to convince me PJIII is the real deal.

Don't get me wrong I'm optimistic about Jones but that was one stretch of three good games. I hope he does live up to his potential but let's not put high expectations on someone who OKC just gave to us for nothing.

If Kevin Durant and his toothpick legs can handle the NBA so can Jones 3

RM's curiosity and obsession over PJ III is easy to understand. The guy is very athletic, and seems that have the tools to play the 3/4.

Reminds me of my obsession with/defense of Patrick O'Bryant a few years back, when he was perfect size, athleticism to fill the need at the center spot. Trouble was, he just was not productive on the court, mostly because he seemed to lack a motor.  It was very frustrating watching that unfold.

I suspect we will see the same thing happen with Jones. Danny will probably give him the opportunity to show he can assert himself, and if he does, he will keep him. If he does not, he will cut him.

Forget his knees. The issue is that he's been next to useless offensively for his entire career to date.

Last year he rebounded worse than Jeff Green, assisted on baskets less often than "No Pass" Bass, shot less often than Rondo, stole the ball less often than Sullinger, blocked shots half as often as Gigi Datome, and shot less efficiently than Marcus Smart.

He's like some sort of Voltron assembled from the things each Celtics player is worst at.

Thank you! TP!

If only real life worked like this.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

my quest for info is more on trying to find out more about perry before he becomes a  catalyst of some forced trade or waiver--he's a young kid with a story as well as his athletics-and yeh if he makes it great but someone goes-its sort of a mystery and could be a feel good factor-
