Can we stop trying to trade Evan Turner

Dudes in every trade proposal.  He has almost zero value to a good team so if anything, including him will downgrade the package.

Nice.

Turner is an interesting test case, though. He had a real good season, basically playing PG, racking up triple doubles, hitting big shots, and getting into the playoffs. It was a nice rehabilitation to his image after bottoming out in Indiana. But how many teams were actually paying attention to that and how many would still be scared off of a potential deal by his chucking in Philly and his terrible show in Indiana? I don't really know what his value is like around the league.

TP..... Don't know what I'm more tired of. "Trade ET "threads  and their  numerous permutations, or ALL the blanking Seventy Stinkers threads. At one point this past week there were 4 out of 8 Stinker threads in the latest forum topics at one time.

Don't forget the reasonable contract. If we had a few max players, or a stressed payroll, he might be a good 8 or 9th. guy off the bench.

Just a tad. He isn't a star by any means but he definitely helped the Celtics last season.

Definitely others are overrated. This, of course, makes Turner under valued.

When I think of a team that could use a guy like Turner, it's us.

The odd man out and better trade asset is Avery Bradley.  Smart, Turner, with IT  and Rosier off the bench. That's my gut on he 4players at PG and SG. 

Same with the trade Sully nonsense. If he is truly a backup that's fine, he would just be 6th man candidate before long. The question is over the 4th big, KO, Zeller, or PJ. Zeller has been mentioned as a good backup on a contender. I agree.

The trade package should involve Bradley and Zeller.

We get a year to see whether Sully/ KO can get it done, and Lee/ Amir let us be competitive while we watch.
The SF spot is by platoon with Turner, Crowder, and Jerebko doing time there, with Turner and Jerebko seeing time at SG and PF respectively.

Bradley, Zeller, and the young player replaced by the trade, perhaps IT and we get a real starting PG.

The longer Evan Turner remains a player deserving of major minutes on the Celtics the longer we will not be contending for a championship.
