The two situations we could benefit from are Exum injury and Morris trade request.

Here is my suggested trade between BOS, PHX and UTA :

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=p22xdcr

We also give 2 first round and two second round picks to Utah for their trouble (and another second round pick to Phoenix if needed...)

I feel like the ideal replacement for Evan Turner is Hayward! He can handle the ball and create for others... he is cluntch... he has the size to play 2 or 3... he is a better defender and a better 3 point shooter... I'm big on ET not necessarily on his intrinsic value but on how well he fits our team. I do feel like the best option to replace him his Brad's own little puppy Gordon Hayward.

I think we are legitimately a playoff team with such a trade and could try to get to the EC finals with luck...

What do you guys think...?

If Utah traded Hayward it would probably take that package plus at least the two Brooklyn picks we have left.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

if the deal was for just the players proposed, I'd do it.  requiring the C's to add 2 1st's and 3 2nd's to complete it is too much for 1 player who's solid but not an all-star.

I do agree that Utah and Phoenix would want more compensation but maybe 1 non-or-late-lottery first and 1 high seconds and a non-Philly second to Phoenix.

Neither Morris nor AB are as good as Hayward nor would I could consider them to be as good as him combined, but, when combined they are a pretty solid addition to Utah that should only need a little sweetening to even out the trade value.

its close in terms of  fair value with Utah needing a bit more value headed their way.

I think Phoenix does it and so does Boston, but I dont think Utah will trade any of ther "big 3" if you will in Gobert Favors Hayward for anything less than a kings ransom and this doesnt fit that description.

As usual, a terribly one-sided trade proposal by a Celtic fan.  Yawn.

And remind me, why is Utah trading Hayward?

Because the franchise has no history of holding onto their talented draft picks for as long as possible.

Wait.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Why is anyone trading anyone...??

Trade happen! Gordon could want to reunite with Brad... UTA is not THE destination either... wont be shocked if someone wants to go to a different team.... who knows what can happen... UTA might feel like a brooklyn pick could provide a nice compensation in addition to filling up their need and get a high potential player in Jones.... it all depends but it's just an idea!

Again this is just an idea about the current issues two teams have (PHX with Morris and UTA with Exum) and trying to see if the opportunistic celtics could put a package that answers both teams needs and help us as well by getting a good player who fits our need and free up space on the roster...

I thought the same thing when I heard it. It seems Uta is going to give Burke startters reps and see what happens. Moriis is a head case we don't need.

There's no point in speculating about such a hypothetical when there hasn't been a single report that Hayward wants out.

There's no way the Jazz would want Morris with his bad attitude and legal troubles.

Not sure about this one. History repeats itself... and Jesus did leave Nazareth...

I would not mind doing this trade for us, but the other teams would laugh at the proposal.

Why is it that practically everyone on this forum thinks Utah will trade Gordon Hayward? They seriously have no reason to.
