My guess is he'll always be pretty skinny. He looks like he's got most of his Dad's genes. Manute's legs were similarly weird to look at. Both seem to have smallish torsos in relation to their overall height, and absolute stick legs.

I recall watching Manute Bol live, and he was drilling half court shots with his back to the basket during warm-ups. I was just a kid, was fun to see.

I would have thought that growing up in the States with an American diet would have helped fill him out, but he is still very young. I see on wiki that Manute's other son played college ball and graduated in 2013. However, he apparently is not talented enough to have his own wiki page.

That stood out to me also at how low the release point was on the shot. But he is so tall it still is hard for someone he is playing against to block his shot and if he grows at a similar rate when he reaches the NBA it would still be difficult for most to block his shot.

I think Rick Barry's free throw release point was higher than Bol's shot release.
