Can't believe the lack of press,is brad going to salivate over his versatility or is the motor question going to color his skills
----i would like to know if he is in waltham, what he is doing this summer and about his knees issues and arthoscopic surgery
,what it was like playing with durant and westbook along with what he learned
-as the newest addition and most easily waived,he also could really complicate bostons roster and trading situation-
being traded by two teams is difficult to overcome for perry, if he can't make the roster it may be the end of his career-  he is complicating an overstocked frontcourt with known young players, so i hope he is in waltham with the young guys cause he is only 23 and has to really show something at training camp-

I think it's because the great majority of media and fans have written him off.  They think he will be waived.

I hope that is not the case, as I would like CBS and staff to get a hold of him and see what they can do.

But the less I hear, the lower my expectations... :-\

He seems well spoken and a nice guy. Does not seem self-entitled or not smart to me. I wonder what is his deal? Does he not like bball?

Perry'd better play well in the preseason or he is the most likely to get cut.
"We do so many defensive drills in practice, I come home and I'm putting the press on my woman, denying her the ball.
Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

there were early articles saying he didn't really want to play and that was his problem-he went back to college to mature and a twitter had him" happy to be out of purgatory and a new beginning-
as a fan he could completely throw a spanner into the roster and be a catalyst that initiates even more change-danny doesn't need any help-
is this guy just an athletic tease,--where is perry 111, can he play for the celts and if he can ,who goes-

I thought this was interesting:

"Perry’s athletic ability is off the charts. Our performance data indicates that he matches up very well with both NBA wings and power forwards."

Confirms the physical gifts he possesses.

Opportunity breeds success. I believe Stevens has proven that through Crowder and Jerebko.  Jones has unique physical attributes and if healthy I cannot see the C's waiving him without giving him the year to develop in their system.

He was medically flagged by several teams. I read one exec's medical staff gave his knees "3-4 years." I don't know the details, but if true, he's literally about done. Crazy.

Ok...I wonder how they project that?
Based on starter minutes, rotation minutes, or bench minutes?
Based on wing minutes or big minutes?
Does tempo or style of play factor in?

Just trying to understand.

If you have degenerative problems with your knees, it's not something that is easily fixed (read: fixed at all), unfortunately.

On the other hand, Stevens has a track record of taking players on the margins and putting them in a position to succeed, and Jones is exactly that kind of player.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I can't stress this enough. His knee surgeries have slowed him down considerably. Please anyone show me a highlight of him beating someone off the dribble or having a poster dunk!!

Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens

How many surgeries has he had?  I see one in 2014.  Anything else?

"While opinions vary among NBA doctors on the ramifications of the issue, some teams feel that the knee could be an issue down the road and at some point in the future require surgery."

Sounds like many are not sure about long term ramifications.
