Sixers end up last. Liberty Bawlers vow to get even in 2025.

We end up with the 5th (BKN), 14th (DAL) and 20th (BOS) picks and the top 2 picks in the second round (PHI, MIN).

Sign me up despite the dumb SI contract error on Amir Johnson, which, however, doesn't affect the model. The Cavs 51 win projection doesn't seem reasonable, but the methodology drives that. The explanations for the various changes year-over-year for other teams don't seem far-fetched, but Ill let the Celtics fans in name only try to sell you on why we're doomed.

This sounds like best case scenario all around for us. I love it.

44-47 wins is about where I am at predictions wise.

Let's hope Dallas is a little worse than that, but not too much worse. I feel like Utah and Phoenix should finish ahead of them, assuming health is not a factor.

I'd be a very happy camper if the C's finished around the 49 win area. Maybe I'm weird but I enjoyed watching this team scrap their way into the playoffs last season. I guess when I heard the word rebuild the ML Carr Rick Pitino years came rushing back into my memory.
ok fine

#5 seed seems pretty aggressive, and the Cavs projection seems silly. Toronto tops the list? Bucks miss the playoffs? Wizards drop off that much?! Expect them to be even better.

A margin of error under 3 wins?! That's insane. I wonder if the same model has been used all along. Maybe individual players don't make that much of a difference, but I would imagine it would be hard to predict the influence of some changes (e.g., Lee's acquisition, Smart's improvement).

  • Let's Go Celtics!
So this projection has us in at the 4th seed and Milwaukee missing the playoffs altogether?

Yeah...

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington

There is way too much hype surrounding Milwaukee in general imo.  They have a lot of good players but how all of that fits together they are too young and not enough balls to go around. They remind me of Minny a few years back.   Might be a good lottery team.

We have a much better team than last year. I say 50 wins.

Last time the West had someone with a .500 or worse record in the 8th spot, was '99.

The West is finally crumbling! (As long as we ignore the fact that 6th place in the West is good enough for 1st place in the East).

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

So yeah... Jabari returns, Middleton resigned, and Monroe was added. How in the world could that team fall from 6 to 9? Jabari could be a stud (I'd argue he will be), Monroe already is..

I can see 47 wins with a healthy roster in the East. Caves will have 60+ wind, Bucks should be better than us. LOVE the Nets prediction.  :D

I love that the expectations for this team have been raised.  I'm looking forward to watching our squad go into the 2015-2016 season trying to meet or exceed those expectations.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
