youngs tarnished image to get a shine job working out with durant who he also represents.
seems the agent is worried about the big contract down the road he may not get with young floundering-
who knows maybe durant will pull a garnet and rescue the celtics to join their rich history -could history ,organization ,youth  lottery picks and coaching intrigue him to challenge russell ,havilchek, bird ,pierce and the rafters of greats-is oklahoma city the place for one of the greats that may find legacy more important than money
-the celtics also have a fraternity of ex stars that went on to coach and manage teams across nba-bird,mchale,doc,heinshon,cousy,don nelson-then the boston sport culture and fans are best in country(gotta get a tp on that plug)-celtics become legends as players and coaches

another thought is also young sort of a lure or ambassador for celtics youth and brad stevens-durant may be curious as how brad succeeded with so much player movement
-this is just a 19yr old boy, durant called perry best athlete in nba (2014) maybe young will intrigue   durant into looking deeper  into celts during free agency-

If a player might be interested to make an old fashion legacy out of his career it might be Durant. However, it looks like he wants to do that in OKC. I'm not buying for a second he'll go to DC just because it's his hometown. If he goes to DC or Boston, it probably be because the organisation wants to move on and rebuild.
Generally, it seems that almost nobody cares anymore for big legacy nowadays. NBA has become too money oriented and only a butch of them really care to win. But none have the ambition to carry on their shoulder an historical franchise like the Celtics.
I'm not sure if it's too "old fashion", that the values in life has just changed. But it is what it is.
Chasing more millions when you already made 100 in your career is something that I will never understand. Don't they want to establish something else in their life. To be remembered as someone great, set an example for the next generations or even your kids?

If the Celtics wanted to send an ambassador of sorts to KD's camp to begin laying the foundation for a move to the Cs next offseason, Young is not the player I want serving as that ambassador. I don't think the idea warrants much consideration in the first place to be honest.

I'm fairly confident KD will stay in OKC. I'm also confident in Donovan's ability to coach at the NBA level so I suppose all we can do is wait. I'm also not sure I see the draw in comparing players between OKC and WAS. I'd rather play with Westbrook than Wall if I was KD. Similarly, Adams and Kanter are much younger than Gortat and Nene. Not to mention OKC has a much better supporting cast.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!
