I want to take my future brother in law out for a nice steak dinner.  We have a bromance going over our love of the Celtics and I'd like to take him to the steak house frequented by the Celts but I cant remember which one it is.

Could someone clue me in?

I want to say it was Ruth Chris Steakhouse but I could be mis-remembering.  Thanks!

I'm also open to suggestions for restaurants in general.  I really like this guy and he treats my sister with a lot of respect so I'd like to take him to a really classy place to return some of that respect.

(Cue requisite Sully jokes  :-X )

No idea if the Celtics go here, but Grill 23 has always been a favorite steakhouse of mine. I love the atmosphere there, and they make a mean piece of beef!

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
List of restaurants Celtic players have visited.

Flemings
Del Friscos
Davio's Northern Steakhouse
Hilltop (Perkins, Rondo, Humphries, and a few select others used to visit there before it got shut down.)
St. Elmo's (Paul Pierce went there a few times, and took a few photos.)
Mortons (Gerald Wallace, and Gerald Green went there a few times.)
Demeters Steakhouse

Ran into Big Baby at the cheesecake factory day after the Celtics won Banner 17.

When the Celtics win Banner 18, go there.

I think Strip by Strega is quickly becoming the new Boston athlete hot spot.

My favorite steakhouses in the area are Grill 23, Bogies place and Boston Chops. Not sure if they are celtics destinations or not though.

Thanks for all the great responses.   ;D

Now I'm hungry.  It's only 9:40 on a Sunday morning though.  Maybe I will do up some steak and eggs.

What makes you so sure Sullinger will still be a Celtic when that happens?

Negative TP for you... : )   As much as he frustrated me/us as a fan(s), he sure was entertaining.  I sure hope he is doing well.
