I remember when Boston drafted Dee Brown in the 1990 draft.
Rozier reminds me a LOT of Brown, only he's stronger and more physically gifted. Brown went 165 pounds - and took a beating. But Rozier's frame is much stronger.
But when I watch them play I see so many comparisons. Their dribble moves are a LOT alike. Rozier knows how to gain space off the dribble, a unique ability. Their shooting strokes are very similar.
I've been hard on this move - and I really didn't like it. But the more I watch him, the more I'm seeing it. Smart is a combo-hybrid guard, but Rozier can really handle it well.
I really see Avery Bradley being gone - that if Danny wants to upgrade, it will take Bradley to be dealt, largely due to his NBA contract. Not sure Young will ever pan out, but Hunter is for real.
Rozier has the potential to be something special, and I like Rozier, Smart, Thomas and Hunter as the guards on this team moving forward. Each has something unique to bring...
