Team Africa’s roster will include Miami’s Luol Deng; Portland’s Al-Farouq Aminu; Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo; Nicolas Batum of Charlotte; Bismack Biyombo of Toronto; San Antonio’s Boris Diaw; Minnesota’s Gorgui Dieng; Festus Ezeli of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors; Oklahoma City’s Serge Ibaka and Sacramento’s Luc Mbah a Moute.

So Team Africa is going to roll out a team of nothing but 10 Centers and Forwards?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Too bad Stevens is gonna be an assistant under Hollins rather than Pop.

I'm missing something. How is this Team "Africa"? Ante is from Greece, and Batum and Diaw are from France.

Apparently you've never seen Boris Diaw completely run Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. at Point Guard!

Would be pretty awkward if we traded Turner now.

Those specific guys have African parents. I'm pretty sure Giannis' parents are immigrants from Nigeria.

Great job!! Give some of the Celts their due! We are the best!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Indeed, even though Batum is born in France, he has both parents Cameroonian and identify himself as African. Diaw is born is France with a French mother and Senegalese father.

Dennis Schroder's mom is African.  I believe Emmanuel Mudiay has African parents as well (I think he might even have been born in Africa).

They should have put those two on the African team so they could have a couple of guards.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
