I would say no, just because of all the salaries we'd have to match.  I would love Gallinari though, he's seriously underrated.  I think if Bargnani didn't exist, Gallinari would be regarded much more highly.

Yes. Lawson is a solid player.

With a lots and lots and lots of baggage.

Before this DUI I would have said yes, but now not so much. The Celtics aren't that desperate to get Gallo. A team that wants to win that needs a playmaker at the PG could make a play for Lawson. I've said quite a few times that Houston could make a play for him but they'd have to give up young value just to get him.

What scares me is the prospect of Lawson getting waived, and a team like the Nets picking him up off Waivers. I'd trade for Lawson just to make sure the Nets don't get him and improve their playoff chances.

Nah.  I don't mind taking a chance on a guy with baggage but we have so many young guards that need to play.  Lawson is a very good point guard but he doesn't make us a contender.  Since that's the case, I'd rather see what we have with this Rozier/Smart backcourt of the future.  That's not happening with Lawson on the team

That isn't half bad, although I think many would consider that too much for Gallinari on our end.

considering Denver wants to unload both of those players, they're making out really well in that deal.  I suppose I could live with that deal if Danilo managed to stay healthy for the year.

Reports today showed that prior to his second DUI, Denver was asking for a first round pick and a young prospect for Lawson and no GM's were interested. Now the common thought around the league is that Lawson is virtually valueless from a trade perspective.

Obviously we wouldnt want Lawson if he went on to waivers giving our point guard situation... but if a move was made prior to him going on waivers where we lost some guards he might be worth the risk at a low cost.

We have a dearth of SG and PF and could use a real SF for balance of the roster.  I get that missed the whole year 2 years ago, but he did play in 59 games last year and ended the year playing.  The year before he was out he played in 71 games.  So there is some injury risk with him, but Bradley isn't exactly the picture of health either.  That said, Gallinari is expiring and is pretty much better across the board than Bradley (and plays a position of more need).  So the real question is, is Olynyk worth the upgrade from Gallinari to Bradley.  Given we have Sullinger, Johnson, Lee, and Jerekbo, I think he is.

I think if everything goes according to plan we re-sign Lee on a fair contract to finish his career, or at least help him enter his twilight years. Use his leadership to develop Mickey who has a ton of promise right now and move on from both Sully and KO.. Like i mentioned before i think Sully is gone no matter what in FA, guy wants to get paid and I can't imagine him being on a PF committee is all too pleasing for him right now.
Also, i feel that Smart makes more sense at the 2, so I think moving Bradley makes sense. It will help develop Rozier to our starting PG, and will allow us to transition Smart to the SG...
I'm also a fan of Gallo so trading for him in my opinion would be ideal.

Just my opinion on the whole situation.

Everyone wants to get paid.  Year after Sully, Olynyk comes due.  Sullinger is just better than KO though.  I'd much rather pay the better player.

Heck no.  I don't want Lawson anywhere near that locker room.  Plus, the backcourt is crowded enough.
