That is a blow against Jonathon Holmes.
I thought the same when I saw this trade ;D! But I could imagine Jonathan Holmes sticking around if we trade Sully etc. for a player like Gallinari.

I think he gets traded again before the season starts.  Acquiring PJ3 doesn't make any sense with how many guys we have on our roster.

More moves are coming. Going to be interesting to see who will be the 15 to stay.

Classic low risk/high reward move. I like it. Danny channeling his inner Belichick, lol.
KO and Zeller, aka Hopeless and Helpless aka the Twin Towers of Futility.

We get paid to take a chance on a tall SF guy with high ceiling.
He's healthy. According Thunder's fans, he has confidence issue.
Let's try him for 1 year, while solving a bit of our Swing position's depth.
For what is worth, who among our young players ever score 30+ points in a game lately?
Not saying it's relevant, but still, it shows the ceiling of this guy.
Come on Brad, make this one the steal of the decade.

OKC has been very good at picking players, what went wrong w/ PJIII?
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Lol again as I read through this guy being down played  Kid was a stud in the ncaa.  Has played behind kdurant, is a position of need, we got him for nothing, he's young and he's in a system that will accentuate what he can do.  At the least hes a rental with high upside.  Jeez us whAt more do people want around here.  Criersblog ::)

Btw, we are used to have 18 players by September almost each year.
Not worrying at all about that. Danny knows what he's doing.

Around the same time, AB against the Mavs scored the same 32.

Another pointless trade. We already have a team filled with role players. Hopefully, there is a method to Ainge's madness.

He projects best at small forward, where we are not deep at all.

I love this trade. I like this more than the David Lee trade, honestly. I can't believe this is to get a 2nd round pick. I think Danny has every intention of keeping him. This is not Chris Babb, for heaven's sake.

Guess Scott Brooks didn't like to play unproven players. Jeremy Lamb was also a player who didn't get a lot of playing time in OKC ::)
I also read that PJ3 didn't fit into Brooks' system which also could explain why he didn't play so much ;D!

Great pick-up.  We need a solid SF.  Perry Jones was a preferred player in his draft and performed very well during his Summer League sessions those years.  Very tall for his position and very athletic as well.  I think, given the minutes that Crowder received, he'll be a much better offensive player than Crowder.  I'm not sure of his defensive prowess, but it will be hard for him to perform as well as Crowder did down the stretch.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him earn a start early on in the year and eventuallyy earn the job.  Great pick-up!

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Good trade. Very low risk, high reward type of player who has shown flashes that he can be a good player.

That is a blow against Jonathon Holmes.

Indeed, this is the sad part. There's no way we can sign him now.
