He had a couple good games in Durant's absence last year. When you pick him up for nothing I think we can only color it as a great deal. Now the question is whether he stays or goes.

I'm unclear on why the Celts acquired a guy who will just spend the year on the bench or in the D-League.  We've got guys like that already.

His salary is too low to really be useful to be trade filler, and I can only imagine that other teams' interest level in him is similar to my own. 

This definitely kills any hope of the Celts retaining Jonathan Holmes, though, for the people who thought that might happen.
