How Basketball Analysis is being done today.

As  Coach Stevens  was being talked about as C's new head coach it was indicated
how he liked to use stats. Well now a days he must be in heaven because the things they
are now doing is just amazing.

It you haven't see this TEDs video you'll be amazed. What's more the guy says many NBA teams are now using this software.

The math and creation of models makes perfect sense to me, but the hardware collecting this data is wayyy outside of my world. I'd like to know a lot more about that - the technical side.

If anyone has knowledge and can share, it'd be great.
