Maybe another Mavs first? or 2 second? they can use some SGs
or Cavs? they havn't re-sign JR smith, but i don't know if i want a Cavs pick
which almost worth nothing

AB has a decent amount of value and is about to be on an unbelievably cheap contract. If we trade AB, we're probably getting proven talent.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Bruno from Toronto, we'd have to add a pick.

Fascinating how people turn on players. The AB hate is really strange since he is a top tier defender and decent shooter. As for Young, let's wait till he is old enough to get served at a bar before we give up on him and give him away.

My problem with AB is that he's one dimensional on offense and cannot make decisions on the court. I've said it before, AB is a very valuable player to a contender, which we aren't. We need a scorer, many teams need perimeter defense, a trade could be very mutually beneficial.

Top tier defender?? Exaggerate much?

As for Young, I am not waiting for anything.

I just don't like him as a player, plain and simple.

He was second team all defense in 2013...

Lebron maybe. Maybe KD if they throw in a pick. I don't want to trade young, but I would do a 1 for 1 Bradley for Terrence Jones.

not crazy on Young myself anymore but dumping those 2 guys leaves us woefully thin at the 2 spot.  puts way too much pressure on hunter to produce and forces guys to play out of position in order to cover the spot for 48 minutes (Crowder, Turner, Smart all have glaring holes playing the wing guard spot).

hopefully we could get some sort of 2 guard back in a deal.  I'd go those 2 to Sacto to take a roll of the dice on McLemore though.  Feel like Danny would too. he's been flirting with trading for him for 2 years now.  may have to add a pick to sweeten the deal though

James Young has roughly as much value as Reggie Bullock at the moment. Which is to say, none at all.

I wouldn't give up on Young yet.  He had some dominant games int he D League last year and the talent level there is a little better than Summer League.

AB on the other hand is a known commodity.  Good rotation guy, probably good enough to start on a few teams.  But he's not good enough to be a real difference maker.  If you could make a deal to upgrade one of the front court positions, I'd move him.  But if not, he's OK here - at least till someone else proves they deserve his minutes.

Toss Livingston, Young or Hunter in there for him right now and you're downgrading the team quite a bit.
