Vaughn. He is Dwade-like. Young (18 yo) and has great potential.

Didn't know much of Rozier until Danny drafted him. After seeing Rozier from summer league, he appeared really good.

almost lopsided on the votes for our Terry. love the pick!
Hopefully this isn't because a lot of us wear green tinted glasses.  If Rozier were on another team I don't think any of us would be excited about him just yet.

I've been against many Celtics draft picks who I subsequently convinced myself would become good players.  Jerome Moiso, Giddens, James Young( although he still has a chance), and even Fab Melo for a little while.  Hopefully Rozier won't end up in this group of players.

Ya totally agree, wouldn't have thought that Rozier was that great if wasn't wearing green, but  I hope he won't end up like Giddens, Mosiso, Melo

I was really excited about Kedrick Brown, thinking he would be a hidden gem with his "draft promise and super athleticism" and all.

Atlanta traded Oubre after picking him so we could have easily topped that offer. I would have done that or drafted Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Yeah me too.  "the best athlete in the draft who can shoot the ball" is how Chris Wallace described him.  He was a freak athlete for a few seasons but never knew how to play and never really shot all that great.  It was sad to see him like 25lbs heavier a few seasons later.

same. I loved RHJ.

At the time we were on the clock, I would have picked RHJ or Portis but I would have been pretty dissapointed with the return.

When I heard Rozier's name I was pretty happy,  I hadnt even thought of him. I definitely prefer him over Portis and Oubre but I still really like RHJ.

Bobby Portis.

Hate the Rozier pick.
Agree on wanting Portis but why the hate for Rozier?  seems like the kid can play.  then again, you said Exum would be a bust last year and that doesn't seem to be the case

It's kinda the same deal we went though with Smart .....I was for picking Randle  ......but now I d lay money on Smart being better at his job than Randle.or having a more profound career .

Rozier will most likely be a valuable asset in a couple years..........so ......he maybe part of a trade to Philly for a big. ....?  At some point

I didn't feel like there was a slam-dunk pick there waiting for us, so I don't care.

But with the 28th pick, I really would have preferred that they take Harrell.

I'm sorry, but athleticism is definitely not one of Portis' strengths. He lacks explosiveness but makes up for it with effort and skill. He also has an NBA body, but Ainge had a good reason for passing on him. There's a reason these guys weren't selected in the lottery, and it's because each has deficiencies that they may or may not be able to overcome. I bet Ainge had been targeting Amir Johnson and that likely affected his draft decisions. Myles Turner would have been ideal if he were within our range, he has looked incredible so far.
You are no longer black, or brown, or yellow, or red! You are now GREEN, you are light GREEN, or dark GREEN!

I think Rozier was a slam dunk.  I think Smart and Rozier are going to be a really good tandem.  Best in the NBA someday.
