Players join teams with talent.   Boston couldn't even get a meeting with the guys this year like Love, Aldridge, Gasol, etc.   Why?  Because it's a talentless roster of mediocrity.

Says the guy who is positively giddy at the "talent" of Nik Stauskus and Anthony Bennett.

And is there any evidence that Boston tried to get anyone except Tobias Harris?  The only report I can recall is that Boston was NOT interested in the free agents they'd been connected to in the media, like Monroe.

I'm not all that thrilled that Ainge is putting all his chips on making a big deal this season or internal player development, but I hope he's right and I'm wrong.

The huge cap increases have really neutralized any flexibility Danny secured by piling up all those picks and carefully managing cap space.

Even the Nets are gonna have plenty of cap space over the next couple of years.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
