Seems as if we;re gonna have to go with the players we have, and with a coach the resume of Brad Stevens, that's a good thing. I'll preface this by saying these guys in no way could ever take the place of Pierce, KG, Allen, but I feel that in 3 years our next big 3...meaning, go to guys, are in place. Whether or not Brad stevens, and the players succeed, is soley up to the determination to be great.
KG-Kelly Olynyk- Has the size and agility. Needs to develop confidence and agression
PP-James Young-His is all mental. If he decides he wants to be great..he can be
Ray-RJ Hunter- already has a lethal longe range, has a big frame, just needs to learn the NBA game which I think he will pick up quickly
These are just my hopes for the future. Now you couple that with the steady improvement of marcus smart, and hopefully Sullinger, and the steady production from IT and Bradley, plus a cst of hustling role players and we might really have something in the making.
The league is getting older but more versatile players are becoming more coveted. Might just be the perfect storm when CBS's contract is up. In 3 years we'll have a launching point or it'll be back to square one
