Turner I can see asking for a contract similar to what Jae got. If not a million or 2 more. Sullinger is going to want something similar if not more.

Are these guys part of our long term plans?  You can't have Jae and also Turner being that 7-8 million a year backup guy.

The best time to trade these guys would be now imo. Their values will drop by the trade deadline.

Somebody mentioned an idea of trading

The Nuggets: Sully + Turner + Wallace + 2nd
To Celitcs: Gallo + Wilson + 1st

thoughts?

Everyone is tradeable, if they return good value.  DA told us that this is not our final roster.  I believe him.  Our roster already changed twice significantly, after draft night, and now after the start of free agency.

I don't know if we will see fireworks this year, but DA is always wheeling and dealing as long as he can see a way to make a gain out of it.

If someone is not part of the long term plans, sure let's trade them...

That said, I hope Sully is part of the plans. Move Olynyk instead.

I'd be happy to ship 'em both out, sooner rather than later.

Yes, trade them.  I have no idea why they would re-sign Jerebko if they planned to keep Sullinger and Olynyk.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Its all a matter of finding a partner and getting a decent return. I think Danny will trade Sully if he can get a 1st for him. We could trade Turner but it would be shooting ourselves in the foot. Last season we needed his playmaking and we needed his scoring of the nights it was there. Turner's not the long term solution but I think he is a good bandaid for another year.

I'm fine with trading Sullinger and Turner, but every asset the Nuggets give up in that deal is probably more valuable than anything we are giving up.

Yes, it makes sense to me to trade them.  We have a log jam and could use a true 3 who can score.  I'm not sure about Gallinari as he keeps getting hurt.

The main benefit of the Nuggets trade would be for a 1st. They would go on a rebuild mode and we could get a near lotto pick.

As for Gallo, he will likely be hurt throughout the year but when playoff comes along , can provide those clutch buckets.

I don't think a team going into rebuilding mode wants to trade away a near lotto pick in a deal where they are getting back very mediocre talent at best.

I think the hope would be that if the market value is not great for them now, then they would play themselves into a better position. If that happens, then their value will rise by the trade deadline. If not, then their ability to generate interest in free agency would also drop, so retaining them wouldn't cost quite so much. Or at least with Sullinger, try and swing a sign & trade since he will be restricted.

Sully is still part of the equation. Another bad year conditioning wise from him and that is likely the last draw with him ... but he is our most talented big man and still very young. There is a place here for him if he puts the work in.

Evan Turner should be thrown out with the garbage.

I wouldn't say Sully is no part of the long term team

If he says fit .......

He is probably a big part of it ,  until pieces can be traded to get stars.

I think Danny wants to keep developing his young players to increase their value .

If your looking for Danny to give away or sell off the team cheap to tank.......then you have not been reading the threads or following what he does ....expect disappointment.

Right or wrong doesn't matter ......what we think doesn't matter

Danny will keep Sully long as he plays well and stays fit........

Sully ...if fit is the Best Big talent on the team.

I'm ready for Turner to leave already too.

I saw a video of him from the other day, it was posted on here. Not only is Sully not fit, it looks like he is slower and fatter. Maybe he gained some muscle but he was super slow.

I think it's real funny how so many armchair GMs are talking about Sully and staying fit, and we should trade him etc.....

He is a major talent - he averaged 13.3 PPG 7.6 RPG 2.3 APG and he is owned for cheap money

I would like to see some pictures of you armchair GMs so I can see how fit you look.
