Two ways to strike draft gold

I don't understand all the negativity around here about being stuck in purgatory and not being able to attract free agents.

There are two ways to strike draft gold.  1) Win the lotto 2) Get lucky with a later pick

In addition to still having a chance at the first option with the Nets picks, people seem to be dismissing the second option ... yet these same people are lamenting the fact that the C's can't sign the following free agents, who happened to be drafted outside the lottery:

Kawhi Leonard - 15th pick
Tobias Harris - 19th pick
DeMarre Carroll - 27th pick
Jimmy Butler - 30th pick
DeAndre Jordan - 35th pick
Draymond Green - 35th pick
Khris Middleton - 39th pick
Monte Ellis - 40th pick
Danny Green - 46th pick
Paul Millsap - 47th pick
Marc Gasol - 48th pick

Be patient.  The C's have the best young coach in the business.  The future is still bright!
