A 3 year $10 million contract according to Woj.

Surprised at the length of the deal, thought next season would be his last for sure.

So where do Pierce and Lance Stephenson fit in then?
Is one of those guys the 6th man?
Or does Redick move back to a bench role?

Redick is totally a bench player in my opinion.

Especially compared to Pierce.

Pierce should basically start every game he plays for the rest of his career.  Not only SHOULD he, but I think he has too much pride not to.  I think he'd retire before he came off the bench.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

If not, Doc always has Brandon Bass.

Doc should just might as well sign Perkins, Rondo, and Ray since he has Pierce and Big Baby lol.

SA with LMA has it, they will do Clips like they did Mia, eat them alive as revenge.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Good for Pierce, happy to see him reunited with Doc. Hoping the Clips win it this year.
Good day for your fantasy team CFF... Otto Porter Jr might be the starting SF in Washington now.

Pierce will be coming off the bench for the Clippers, no question. He won't play out those 3 seasons, either. I wouldn't be surprised if the last two years were player options (or team options, for that matter). Pierce sounded tired at the end of that Wizards run.

It's telling that he wants to go somewhere where he isn't going to be asked to be provide "veteran leadership." The Clippers have vets. I think he wants to play 20 minutes a night and take off 10-15 games in the middle of the season and Doc will let him do that.

another bad move by GM Doc. PP simply wants a situation where he can sleep in his own bed half the season. That is not going to help his focus. Bad move. PP is pretty much done at this point.

Clippers wont even make the conference championship with this roster. They may miss the playoffs if DJ leaves.

Pierce is not what he once was, but done?

Did you watch him in the playoffs last year?

And he won't have to be the first option like he was at times for Washington.
