I guess I can't argue with you if you're hoping for Ainge to engineer another Harden trade, or a couple of trades like when he acquired Allen and KG. The latter took a top 5 pick, however.
I suppose I just feel like basing your rebuilding strategy on engineering a redux of one of the most lopsided trades ever (the Harden trade, I mean) seems a little ... precarious.
There's a line in there somewhere between confidence in your ability to maximize value out of a pile of assets and the arrogance that an opposing GM will simply be dumber than you.
