SG: Bradley/Turner/Smart/maybe Hunter
SF: Turner or Jae Crowder i guess???
PF: Johnson/Sullinger/Crowder/Jerebko/the 15 other PFs Ainge will sign
C: Zeller/Olynyk (he won't be playing PF anymore if he stays on this roster)

PG- Smart, Thomas, Rozier, Pressey
SG- Bradley, Young, Hunter
SF- Turner, Jerebeko, Wallace
PF- Sullinger, Olynyk, Mickey
C- Johnson, Zeller

That's how I see it. Obviously it's a fluid situation. Crowder is restricted. Wallace could be stretched. We could sign Harris. Trades could happen.

*Jerebko will likely be a stretch 4, probably his more natural position, following a trade. I put him at the 3 because he can play the position and given our current roster.

I thought it reads like his:

Too many undersized guards
Too many undersized power forwards
Too many mediocre players
Not big man.

The guards-wings-bigs thing is great, until the opposing team has a true center. What can this team do about a Deandre Jordan? Only Sully has any prayer of boxing him out, and if we put Sully in we will have absolutely no rim proection. I think the same goes for at least 10 other true centers in the NBA.

And we have nothing that even remotely resembles a true SF. We don't even really have a wing. Crowder, Jerebko are really undersized stretch PFs. We have absolutely no idea if Hunter or Young can play in the NBA still. The closest we have is Turner, who needs the ball in his hands to be effective. So in actuality, we will be need to play 2-big lineups that can't stretch the floor or defend or even really rebound, have 6-2 and under guys filling the wings and getting smothered.

Jerebko has never played and can't play the quick forward position.

Yes that is how it reads hehehe.

Putting names to it:
Ball handlers
Turner
IT
Smart - currently worse of the group as far as ball handling goes

Guards/wings
AB
Turner
Young - if he can earn any minutes

3/4's
Crowder
Jerebko - right now hate to say it but I think he's better than Sully and KO

Bigs
Zeller - think he's our best
Amir - paying $12 m he has to get PT
Sully - will be fat and eat his way out of the league soon
KO - wont man up, could be out of the league soon too

Forget about anyone else - Wallace can rot, rookies can sit the pine like they are suppose to or enjoy winter in Maine.

He's a blend between cannon fodder and kamikaze.

I don't consider KO a big. I consider him an "extra tall" small forward.

This is the depth as I see it right now. Expect Pressey/Babb to be traded or let go.

pg: Smart - Thomas - Rozier
sg: Bradley - Young - Hunter
sf: Crowder - Turner - Wallace
pf: Sullinger - Olynyk - Jerebko
 c: Johnson - Zeller - Mickey

Guards: Smart/Bradley/Thomas will see a chunk of the minutes at the guard spots. Young/Rozier will battle for the 4th guard minutes and pick up more minutes if anyone comes down with injuries. Hunter will probably a lot of time in the DLeauge.

SF: Crowder/Turner should get a chunk of minutes. Jerebko/Young will see some spot minutes at sf in certain situations. Smart/Bradley may see some situational minutes in certain games when we go really small. Wallace is more of an assistant coach then player at this point.

PF/C: Sullinger/Johnson/Olynyk/Zeller should see most of the minutes at these spots. Jerebko will have spot minutes and pick up a bigger role when someone comes down with an injury. Sullinger/Olynyk/Johnson all have injury concerns so minutes should become available. Mickey should spend a large chunk in the DLeague.

I don't see that much of a logjam at this point like many are worried about. If the rookies are developing and ready for more minutes, we can make a trade during the year to open minutes.

Jerebko has never played and can't play the quick forward position.

Spent some time on LeBron last year. While that might not be traditional SF stuff, it's hardly PF either.
