All about $$.  Knows he can get more next year (or in two years or whatever).
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

  • GOT IT!!!
Yeah he'll really cash in on the next deal.

Edit: nevermind he's taking the full 5 year max $110 mill

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Ahhahaha did he seriously try to ape the LeBron SI story announcement from last year?  Figures.

Love is signing for five years, $110 million. He's not leaving Cleveland anytime soon.

I guess the way this happened has made a few national writers look a little more gossipy than usual (which is hard to do). We will probably get a few obligatory "I told you so" posts from Zubi but that should be the end of that. At least that is a positive.

That part I am really surprised about. He is losing money by locking himself into that deal correct? (As opposed to signing a two years and resigning for new max). He must just like the security with the all the injuries he has suffered.

Love being unhappy and wanting to leave was 100% a media-driven narrative from the beginning. I'm sure there was a rough adjustment period, but everything he's done since last summer lines up with his decision to re-sign in Cleveland. His priority, as he stated a year ago, was to win. He's doing just that in Cleveland.

Good. Now people here can stop fawning over him so much.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!
