I was hoping we would pick him up in a salary dump.

On the bright side this probably means Millsap is gone from Atlanta, which makes it more likely that Harris offer won't be matched.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

They're getting Aldridge. Holy crap. And they probably get to keep Mills because of the $2 million bump in the cap.

good for ATL. Al Horford can play PF and Splitter can play C and when they go small Horford can go to C and Carroll go to PF.

Splitter's health/durability as he passes his tail end of his prime is a worry so I'm glad he's not coming to the C's.

Surprised Atlanta abandoned their "5 shooters offense" for someone as limited as Tiago Splitter. I could understand it for a top defensive / rebounding center. But a steady-as-she-goes middle of the road center like Splitter ... huh.

Can you put the link to the actual tweet or the info from the actual tweet? Twitter is fluid so...

Anyways, what impact does this have on retaining Millsap?

Does this mean Millsap is gone?

According to Woj Splitter is a Hawk, an option for the Celts trade exception is now gone.

The San Antonio Spurs have traded center Tiago Splitter to the Atlanta Hawks, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Not a huge loss for the Celts, but a decent fallback option

I agree that San Antonio is one of the best organizations but I also think the New England Patriots are also one of the best organizations.
