Don't be surprised if the C's have to significantly overpay to keep Jerebko.  Stretch bigs are highly coveted in the NBA right now.  There just isn't enough of them to go around and many teams will likely be chasing after him.  Pero Antic I believe said today he is going to play in Turkey next year so there went another option for teams on the free agent market.

Define 'overpay'.

Also, there is no such thing as the objective value of an NBA player. It all depends on demand.

Is there any team that needs JJ bad enough to offer him 6-7 mill per year? I really doubt it.

Then I guess Kelly Olynyk should draw interest as trade bait.

I'm fine with paying for Jerebko--he's underrated.

One guy I'd prefer over Jonas: Cody Zeller.

if we have to overpay to keep him than i say let him walk
no point in keeping another big and overpaying him
when we can develop our picks

Right now I'd take Jerebko over KO as much as I want KO to be good he's got a lot to prove. Right now Jerebko is a better shooter and more athletic.

The Celtics are not going to trade K.O. and I believe they will try everything within reason to sign Jerebko.  They are likely going to be competing against offers in excess of 6-7M per.
