Just noticed that Crowder, Smart, Sullinger, and A.Sherod are all following Harris now.

Cant tell if this a new thing or not.

I don't like his game at all.

However he is young, 6'8" scored 17 ppg last year and looks attainable. Players who fit that criteria are rare.

I like that he challenged lebron james (like Boston did in rd 1) unfortunately he (like us) got steamrolled when Lebron decided to start trying. However there are very few 23 year olds in the world for whom there would be a different result.

Fits a need, is young, contract wouldn't kill cap situation

Do it

His contract is going to be upwards of 12 million per year probably at least.  If it's lower the Magic will match.

I think it'll be around 12/ 13 mil so I expect a sign and trade to make sure it goes through.
I can even see danny adding a few first rounders to compensate and dump wallace's contract to try to go after another free agent at max or near max contract

I really like this.  I much prefer the under the radar approach to things and building and Harris fits that.

If Da could bring in Harris, I hope he can talk PP into finishing he career here and mentor the kid, seems like he could help him get over that hump in improving.

I've looked deeper into the kid and determined my initial stance ("I hate his game") was too strong. I don't like that he isn't a great shooter, and I don't like that he's a tweener and I don't like how eager Orlando seems to be to unload him.

With this is mind. As I sai before. He is a very good target for us.

If we did get him we found our new Paul Pierce. I hope it's true.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

He's somewhere between Pierce and jeff Green how about that? Still it's a good signing and the objective is the same.

Harris is a strong rebounder for his position and similar to pierce although he isnt the scorer pierce was yet. But he's only 22 years old. Probably wont be the scorer pierce was but he is a good percentage shooter and rebounds the ball.

I think overall with having the collection of players we do and Brad Stevens as a coach it can work. We will be flying under teh radar a bit but I'm fine with that.

One thing that guys do not know about Harris is he is clutch in the fourth. He actually shoots better with the game on the line.

This was a good article about his clutch play

http://www.celticsblog.com/2015/4/30/8525253/danny-ainge-says-the-boston-celtics-want-players-with-a-knack-for-scoring-late-in-games

Not PP level but not discouraging

I'd love Tobias in Green.

He and KLove would make a GREAT Forward combo.

Let's hope he's not following a guy who's about to be traded, LOL. SO MANY trade rumors/speculations - out there right now.

One thread (David Aldridge speculating), is that Marcus - Noel swap would fill a need for BOS and PHI. So with that being said, I hope Tobias isn't following Marcus to Philadelphia :o

Why would the sixers trade a big with  embid in limbo. Makes zero sense. They could have drafted Russell instead of trading for Smart. I don't see it. Would I make that trade, yes I would!
