View: Celtics wont sign any significant free agent this year

It seems to me we have a good shot at signing free agents. Monroe and Harris are good players we should offer them both the max and get going. Why mess around, these are the type last year that got max and if we want a talent upgrade this is what you do. Honestly I have no idea why people are saying those are "second tier" FAs? That would be a great score for us!!!

I also agree with whoever implied that this is a preemptive tempering by Cs brass of fans' expectations for FA after the hype/ resulting disappointment of fans about the draft.

I think we have a good shot at both Monroe and Harris.

We have to at least try to sign a FA or two. Simply offer what you feel is fair money. If they have teams that are willing to over pay, let them pass by. I'm not naming any names here, but try.

I'm a patient Celtic fan, but right now, the team is unbalanced at best. At the very least we need another SF that can hit the outside shot, even if we sign Crowder, and we need more length and size. At the least a young back up center. Zeller is OK, but not all we need.

The C's should give the fans some hope.

Sadly, I don't think we have a shot at anyone in the top 15. Maybe Love but I doubt it.

I'll take this one stop further. Since we are under the cap we should do S&T for both of them giving them a chance to make the most $ possible. We would have to give up some small assets but who cares we have plenty to give. This makes players and their agents happy and "all that feel wanted" crap.

When it comes to free agency, it ain't over till it's over. Also, it has not started yet.
