The Sixers were reportedly fined $3 million for failing to disclose a prior stress fracture that Jrue Holiday had when trading him to New Orleans.  Since it had healed, it was not caught during the post-trade physical, but as stress fractures can recur, and did in the case of holiday, it should have been disclosed.  Of course, they still got Nerlens Noel and a pick that became Elfrid Payton (and then traded for Dario Saric and another pick) out of it, so I don't think they have any regrets.  Just another example of Hinkie being Hinkie -- and why it will be very difficult for them to get a decent return for Embiid if he's the big they decide to trade.

I'm surprised they weren't made to give New Orleans at least a second round pick -- goodness knows they have plenty.

And I agree, I think picks should be involved in the punishment, like what happened with Green.

They should lose 2 1st round picks and a few 2nd rounders for blatantly cheating like that. All their championships should have asterisks. Just despicable. Why is there not much media outrage about this?

My mistake.  I looked first, but couldn't find it.
