Third time's a charm for Iverson??
He is not a guard so he will be cut   :P

yeah true. Is taller than 6'8" . Automatic cut lol

You guys are joking, but what you're saying is (sadly) true.
i wasnt aware of sully, olly, and zelly being cut loose by the celtics. it should make for an interesting team next season.  ;D

I should've been more clear: It's obviously not true that Danny doesn't want anyone over 6-8, as evidenced by Olynyk and Zeller (it may be generous to say that Sully is over 6-8); it's that he seems content leaving it at that.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

I cannot wait for it!

The team is cool. I'd love to watch the Smart Hunter Young Mickey Iverson line-up.

Rozier, Thornton and Holmes off the bench is nice too.

Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

I expect Rozier to be our starting PG. I'm really curious to see what he can do.

Per Colton Iverson, I have checked his stats in the Spanish League and they do not look good; I doubt he'll make it to our roster this year.

Some solid floor spacers on the lineup. It'll be interesting to see how Terry Rozier takes advantage of that. The wider spacing should help him get better angles driving to the bucket.

I watched Colton a couple of times this year. To my non-professional eye, I saw no significant change in his quickness, compared to Turkey.

If he ever learns to defend the p'n'r well, he can be a 3rd big. As of today - a miracle must happen in the off-season.

Holmes looks like a solid player. DraftExpress had him ranked 24th before the draft. Cs are certainly eager to find another long 3-4 3-and-D type.

I have been high on JH so much so that I drafted him in the first round in our DKC Challenge (for anyone who knows it, good).

I love that he can be versatile. If he shoots the ball well from three in the Summer League, he'll surely land a team, as there's no question about his ability to defend and his motor.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I am excited for Summer league, because there is a lot less of a likelihood it lets me down, unlike the draft and free agency.

What I want from summer league
1. I want to see if Smart looks more explosive after some off season training and a fully healed ankle. Has he improved his handle and can he play the pick and roll.
2. I want to see if Young can create for himself and stay in front of his man.
3. I want to see what the rookies can do.
4. I want to see Young, Hunter and to a lesser extent Smart and Rozier knock down the 3 to give me hope we won't be a bottom rung 3 point shooting team.
5. I don't want to see anyone outside of Smart, Hunter, Young, Rozier, Mickey and Holmes take any shots. If the player isn't on that list I have no interest in seeing them play.
6. I want to see our players play hard.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Bets on who is going to be the next Kelly Olynyk is the new Dirk Summer League MVP?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Let's put James Young's name on that trophy.

Well, probably not a trophy. Maybe a handwritten note.

Returners:
Marcus Smart
Chris Babb
James Young

Draft picks:
Terry Rozier
R.J. Hunter
Jordan Mickey
Marcus Thornton

Others:
Jonathan Holmes (6-foot-9 forward; UDFA out of Texas; fell out of draft despite No. 24 ranking on DraftExpress' list of top prospects; versatile player who could fit well in Boston's system)

Colton Iverson (rugged 7-foot-0 center; 2013 draft pick; spent this season in Spain)

Erick Buckner (6-foot-10 forward out of Georgia State; spent this season in Turkey)

Corey Walden (6-foot-3 guard; UDFA out of Eastern Kentucky; averaged 18.8 points per game on 54.1 percent shooting as a senior)

Malcolm Miller (6-foot-7 forward; UDFA out of Holy Cross; strong dunk clips on YouTube)

That makes 12 players. According to Murphy, the Celtics plan to bring 13 to Utah and Las Vegas. Last week, Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders reported Boston's summer league team will also include Royce O'Neal out of Baylor.
