Chances of Crowder, Jerebko, Bass of coming back next season

Crowder - He stated last month that he plans to test the market to gauge his worth.  Does not sound like a guy that is committed to coming back.  Danny also stated he plans to make a qualifying offer to Crowder. But said nothing about long term signing or absolutely needing to bring him back.  IMO  75 Percent he is coming back.   But if another team offers him 5-6 million a season, he won't be back

Jerebko - 65 percent chance.  Bc of his shooting ability teams will be interested in signing Jerebko. But at what cost?? Danny likely won't offer him , last seasons contract.  Maybe 4 million a season is ok for what he brings to the table

Jerebko- I don't see him staying. I think Mickey will be the glue guy PF, that we need that can hustle, defend, and score off the bench. Ainge may be hard pressed to give him a decent contract, but there would definitely need to be some under the table dealings due to renouncing cap rights, and the cap holds on players. Ainge would need to structure a decent contract around Jerebko. My guess? 2 years for 8.5 million with a team option, which Jerebko will wisely decline.

Only interested in Crowder, and the interest is a mild one in the scheme of things. If we can accomplish what we want in FA, and Crowder isn't ridiculously costly, then we're good to go.

Retaining Jerebko and Bass is needless and a distraction, let's move on from them.

I think locking up Crowder long term is a priority. He looked to be getting better and better and already has the size and D. Hopefully Danny tells him we want him, and we will match what ever, so we can just agree on a deal at the very end of the summer giving us max flexibility to improve the team. Even if I'm wrong on Crowder, the cap is going up and he is still young so no one can pay him THAT much. I can't believe some of you wouldn't want him at 5 mil a year. Look what Jeff Green gets paid, and Memp was willing to give us a pick to pay him. So even if we paid Crowder substantially more than 5 mil a year it wouldn't be the end of the world if he is not as good as he looks to be to me.

Bass in interesting. You would have thought he could have helped some team over the last few years that they would have traded something for him. If no one wants to pay him much, I would think he would stil be welcomed back here, but on a cheaper contract.

Sililar for Jerebko, if no one will pay more than the min for him and we have a spot, I would think we'd be happy to have him back. Jerebko MIGHT be worth giving a multi year deal to if it is cheap enough. The idea being that we can make him look good and if he is slightly more than just a throw in in a trade than we have created a small asset.

Crowder's definitely coming back as long as no one gives him a ridiculous price. You can't count that out though with the cap about to skyrocket. Crowders a great rotation piece who every team would love to have. A 3&D type of player. I don't see him as the wing of the future but a great role player to surround our group of guys. Anyone else think it's funny how the Celtics ended up with the best player in the Rajon Rondo trade?

I know Bass loves it here and I've loved having him here but there's no place for him. The Celtics are young and don't need more power forwards, especially since Bass is a role player. If they get another one, it will most likely be an upgrade from who they have now and that's not Bass. Having said that, I really hope Bass finds a team who will deliver him a ring. I was really sad when GS turned down adding him last summer because he would have helped them and he would have had the glory. I wish Bass all the best, and the best for him is not the Celtics. If bass does re-sign here, it will be because he loves the place too much to leave.

Jerebko is more likely to re-sign than Bass because he is younger, more versatile and has more range. I give it 50-50 mainly because the Celtics have their backup wing of the future in Crowder and have two decent power forwards in Sully and KO, which are Jerebkos main positions. I think the Celtics will give re-signing Jerebko some thought, but I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves.

If the Celtics make any big trades however, then this could all change.

I think it is less than 50% for any of them.

Its a no brainer that the Cs want Crowder back, but the question is... at what price? I wouldn't be shocked if someone offered a contract that was too rich for the Celtics liking, and so they dont match. 

Conversely, I don't think the value is as hih for Jerebko or Bass, so if they don't get contracts they like from other teams its possible that they are back with the Cs.

This is why we should have waived the after the deadline. By not waiving these players(and Gigi) we ended up barely making the playoffs....and for what, so Crowder and Jonas can make more $ somewhere else? What a joke.

I think if Ainge could do it again he would have waived them all after the deadline.
