most people didnt think we'd make the playoffs last season.  I'm happy with that roster.  I agree we need a star.  I'm not saying that but our team is strong as is.

If we add two free agents to what we already have I think that is enough. Something like:
Smart
Thomas
Rozier
Bradley
Hunter
Young
Turner
Crowder
Wallace
Harris
Sullinger
Mickey
Zeller
Olynyk
Biyombo

Mickey, Wallace and one of Hunter or Rozier are inactive if everyone is healthy. I'd obviously like to consolidate talent at some point and make a trade for a star but for now that is a very good roster.

I think the thing with me is I want Ainge to build this thing.   Hunter can legitamently take Gigi's spot this year.   Rozier can take Turners in a year.  Bass is gone too.   Fans can be really impatient but I'd rather Ainge build over time and get better than forcing the issue on certain things.
