If we don't land one this year with how many there are and all our cap space we can at least put to bed the debate on if we are a destination or not.

Oh, and how much that playoff run helped our attractiveness to free agents.

It is NOT even July 1st and you are putting things in bed.  I am so SICK and TIRED of the pessimism and the glass half empty attitude on this stinking blog!!!!!!!!!

There is no reason to be be SICK and TIRED of other people's opinions when you have no control of them.It is the expectation that other people should be optimistic and have a glass full attitude that needs to be questioned.

Absolutely WRONG!!  I am questioning ranting and raving BEFORE we see what Danny will do in free agency now that we actually have cap room.

Stay with me.  I know I am fast:-)))  (Sort of like Rozier:-))))))))))))))

If the front office doesn't have a high level of confidence, why should the fans, just chuck it in now , why wait until the 1st, no need to get the hopes up anymore , save the effort right?

I think a better title for the thread and what the Cs are trying to accomplish would be:

Source: Celtics frantically trying to temper expectations after the fever pitch of trading up in the draft p---ed off a ton of fans.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

Right. Text me if there's going to be a press conference with Love or Aldridge holding up their Celtics jersey. Otherwise, it's safe to presume we'll be going into next season with another bunch of hustling role players, nothing more.

The level of self-entitlement displayed by our fans in this and many other recent draft threads is almost beyond belief.  Surely Celtics fans are the most spoiled, immature fans in the NBA today...and to think, we used to laugh at Lakers fans!

After more than four decades as a Celtics die-hard, I'm actually embarrassed to have to admit that I'm a fan of the same franchise as you ninnies.  Please get lost and become Cavs fans.

Harris, Monroe, Lopez brother.  One or two of them would be great.

Now that is some optimism! Monroe is the only one I have any marginal interest in, and I don't see him elevating us that much. (And I consider myself optimistic)  ;D

If we swing and miss this summer on free agency, if we do spend money on "second tier" or consolation prize free agents, they better be someone that can raise their value here to hopefully become a trading chip at some point- (Sully, IT4, ET, even Smart could be put on that list of players that may have increased their value under BS)

All reports say 2016 is a weak draft lets trade our 2016 or mavs along with Wallace to clear cap space for two max contracts.
We then sign Monroe and Harris and can go over the cap to resign crowder.
Roll the ball out on the court and let see what BS can do.

Fans are allowed to react to the team's direction (or lack there of) anyway they see fit. If that doesn't jive with your outlook, then too [dang] bad.

There is no reason to be be SICK and TIRED of other people's opinions when you have no control of them.It is the expectation that other people should be optimistic and have a glass full attitude that needs to be questioned.

There is plenty of reason to be sick and tired of all the amateur GM nonsense around here.

Sure thing.

We should all be excited about our team, the 8 guards we have on the roster and the 30 draft picks we've accumulate that nobody wants and that Charlotte didn't even want for Frank freakin Kaminsky.

It's all peaches and cream.
