Also, we will make tomorrow a new offer to Crowder.

//Georgia State’s head coach, received a text message from Celtics coach Brad Stevens.

“It didn’t say congrats or welcome to Boston,” Ron Hunter said in a telephone interview Friday. “It said, ‘I told you I was gonna get your son one way or another.’ ”

The relationship between Stevens and the Hunters dates to when Stevens was an assistant coach at Butler and Ron was the head coach at nearby IUPUI. And as R.J. matured into a talented high school player, Stevens pursued him.//

I'm posting all post draft analysis here to avoid the new thread clutter.

Good article by O'Connor on the merits of Rozier with great gifs.

Not much pessimism there, it's refreshing.
the main nba reddit is full of knowledge and the community don't fight much, even though there team compete or hate the others.

Roster/salaries break up by Forsberg.

Bottom lines:

1/with all these rookie contracts and Wallace's expiring we have salary cap flexibility, like lots of it.

2/Marcus Thornton will probably go the Colton Iverson way and be stashed. Gigi almost certainly gone.

3/With Crowder a deal is probably just a question of time.

4/Finally, //Boston will enter the offseason with the rights to Brandon Bass and Jonas Jerebko, but prohibitive cap holds (to the tune of $18+ million) will force them to renounce those rights quickly if they pursue a big-ticket free agent//

I was not able to keep updating this thread on our draft picks as often as I would have liked to because... problems :-\

Anyway, this piece just caught my eye. Rozier had a twitter Q&A session and a fellow fan collected the best bits. Also, for those interested, he will have another session next Tuesday.

greece with the good stuff! TP
That reddit page is great huh?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

CBS on Rozier

@chambers, yep /r/bostonceltics is pretty pretty good. The debate quality here is better IMO  (bcs we know each other better - Reddit is somehow impersonal) but on the other hand the reddit page gets updated extremely fast with news.

Reddit's format is also extraordinarily bad for any kind of reasonable discussion.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
