So we ship IT out for what..exactly? Another pick? Since he has a great contract, we should replace him with rookie, or an over-priced Vet? Since he is not "a championship PG, why then will he fetch us a star or lottery pick? Makes ZERO sense IMO.
What are we trying to do here? Win? Play Hinkie-ball? Tank?
IT is a quality player on a good contract with a good attitude about the coach and the city. Just cant have any of that now can we?
If we package him for a trade that moves the needle, then OK. but the contradiction of his value vs his worth to this team is illogical to me.
Sorry I forget that logic doesn't exist on CB.
I'm not advocating dumping IT, any trade made should be to improve the team. If that isn't possible than you keep him.
