I think we overreacting with the draft a little bit... only 5 or 6 of them will have some real value... they are just projects now... we could never have okafor towns russel so he gambled... i am not dissapointed.. we have 2 needs..sf and a c... i do not expect 16 and 28 of the draft to fill those needs.. u just draft the guys you think have some value... free agency is another think... if we give up on bradley wallace turner sully or olynyc and bring love koufos and harris i would be thrilled... expect danny to make some noise..

I think what he'll do (or I would do  :P ) is shipping out Bladley, Turner and Sullinger. Wallace should also be gone. If he does that and come out with a first and a second, they'll be great trades.
Also hear Matthews and Robin Lopez are possible targets, which would round up the roster pretty nicely, would possible still leave cap for a star, or the possibility of acquiring one via trade or wait for 2016.
Goal for next season: Top 2 seed.
Say goodbye to: Turner, Zeller, Sully.

Thing is, Trader Danny is a lot closer to the guy with a cart on the corner yelling at passerby than he is to Trader Joe's in terms of the quality of the goods he has to offer.

Is there a possibility that people know that Anige has a lot of assets and wants him to overpay for what they have?

1. Celtics never been players in free agency except for some role players when they were contending.

2. You can just pile up draft picks ... they are starting to overflow the roster and next year will be even worse ... So I see why DA was giving away so much for the 9th pick ... a lot of that has to do with the fact that he can not manage all these picks ..

3. There will be no fireworks as they say... There will be no major trades .. WHY?
Because this team does not have the major talent for big trades .. They have some promising potenital but the value is not there right now..

4. They will play the roster out... sign one or 2 mid level guys and hope that some of the younger assets will gain value and then become tradeable assets .. Again no one will bite on a Sulliger or KO or Bradley.. Maybe you can package Smart is some GM was high on him but he didnt have a stellar rookie year ..

Absolutely.  Other GMs know

(1) That Ainge has a history of making trades that appear lopsided at the time or in retrospect.  He tries to "win" trades.

(2) That Ainge has a surplus of middling assets and needs to consolidate them into fewer, more valuable ones.

So naturally those GMs are trying to squeeze Ainge for extra picks or players, knowing that getting more than Ainge would prefer to give is the best way to be sure they actually get a fair return, and that Ainge can't possibly use all of these picks he's got in the pipeline.

I still think........we solidly won the deal with Nets .......their players KG,PP, and Jet are all gone ,,and no title to show for the couple years rental.

Danny needs to put together several picks and players and see if he can't get  a top five pick or ONE really good solid elite talent player to build around .

Our team has NO core to build around ......if his mid round picks are useless today to get elite picks it seems .

Then .......sell off the middle players .....like NY did and LA and dip I to the lottery a few years till we get some VALUE back I to the team.....have a viable core.
