with the lakers taking Russel that all but ends their interest with Rondo bearing in mind that Clarkson is there too.

Logically thinking about it, the 76ers might be the only viable option for him now. I can't think of any other team that needs a Pg as badly as they do.

He would be the best player to develop their young bigs and is literally the only team in the NBA where Rondo would be "the man".

Question is would he accept a move to the 76ers? And would Hinkie want a chance to get better?

Maybe Houston if they don't match Beverly offer if he get a contract with someone
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Houston might be the perfect place for him actually on a minimum deal.  Dallas just crushed his value.  I think he might appreciate Danny, Brad and the Celtics a lot more right about now.

Houston would be a great landing spot.

Sacramento as well, will be interesting to see where he ends up and if he gets close to there almost 10 million a year he earned this past season.

Houston would be a great landing spot.

It would make great sense for Rondo as the Rockets are rivals with the Mavs (great revenge story against Carlisle) and also Houston has Josh Smith going for them too.

I think Rondo wants to win now. I don't think he'll sign on for another rebuilding effort but if they offer him a max you never know.

That's why I think Houston offers the best possibility. Western contenders and also they have Rondo's buddy Josh Smith.

Rondo is so washed up, I'm OK if he's out of the league. I wouldn't pay him minimum wage.

I agree that Sacramento makes the most sense at this point.  Perhaps Miami.

Why would he go to the 76ers? They've never even crossed my mind as a destination.

Houston and Sactown are his two best options in my eyes.

Ironically didn't we try to trade rondo to Sacramento for ben mclemore and the 8th pick last year (which we could have used for elfrid Payton), but rondo killed it because he refused to re-sign in Sacramento?  This has never full-on been confirmed, but all the rumors pointed towards it having happened.

I don't want rondo signing there. That would really annoy me.
