Rozier is the steal of the draft

 Who, Exactly what I have been thinking. Would be nice If Smart could play more Small Forward, He's only 6'2" shoes off but does have the great wingspan and strength. Even If you played Rozier, Bradley and Smart together you still have 6'7" 6'8" and 6'9" wingspans with great quickness and defense, now if Smart and rozier could shoot we might have something.

 I was really disappointed with Smarts Ball handling and penetration last year. Now Stevens has lots of options. We were too dependent on Evan last year to make plays. Between Smart, Thomas, Rozier and Turner Stevens can now pick and choose who is playing the best.

 I did think that was a big weakness last year for the Celtics not saying Rozier is the answer but he will penetrate frequently, and Hunter can actually pass well too.

The thing is, because he was pretty low on all the mocks, he didn't receive all that much attention. No pieces on him, so the people who don't watch college basketball that much, really didn't even think of him as our pick.

Then, when someone gets picked, who you don't know, you will be disappointed. But knowing a player doesn't mean a thing. Many hyped players busted, and many unknown players turned out to be stars.

Stevens likes the pick. Let's see what he does in summer league. People can become better shooters but your first step usually does not get better. We can put on a press now too with him smart and Bradley.

The Celtics Brass spent a lot of time evaluating these players.  They even had Rozier in twice for workouts.  As soon as he was picked the fan base and even some of the experts on TV complained about better options at PG being on the board.  I remember the same thing happening when we picked Rondo.  I am not comparing Rozier to Rondo, but simply trying to press the point we need to give the kid some time to show he was worthy of the 16th pick.

TRo is pretty accurate from the mid range, both off the bounce and spotting up. It's the 3 that runs hot and cold. Not sure why people think he can't shoot. He has a lot of developing to do, but he's not just a chucker. His freshman year when he deferred as a backup is a good example of a year he could just let the game come to him as that team had more offensive firepower than the historically bad shooting team of 2014-2015.

I like rozier's potential much more than Harrell's. Will take a few years to see if TRo pans out.

What exactly is he going to say? Nah, I wanted someone else? One, he was in the war room, too - so he participated in this selection, and two, he needs to stick up for the player he's stuck with.

his first step you can't teach ,you either got it or you don't- the ball doen;t seem to slow him down-there still is nobody like isiah with his misdirection and change of pace,this kid will learn alot from isiah-

He really does look like Eric Bledsoe, and I love that he led the ACC in steals. I didn't think at the time that he was the BPA, though he absolutely might have been.

But I don't know what I would do if I had Eric Bledsoe right now, either!! Are we going to play hockey shifts or something? The point is literally the only place we have talent. If you're bad, you take the BPA... I get it... but Rozier was definitely not the consensus BPA. I love watching him play, but I'm really flummoxed by this whole situation.
