You people continue to amaze me with the stupidity. First of all don't be mad that he wasn't able to trade up. Obviously he tried. IT TAKES 2 TEAMS TO MAKE A TRADE. second of all, it was the 16th pick. The likelihood of getting a good player is very low. He swung for the fences with this pick and its a good thing. Yes we have a bunch of guards but which ones are a great players? Don't worry I'll wait. Bradley, Smart, and Thomas shouldn't even be thought about when making a pick. They're not good enough from keeping you from picking a player that you believe in. Rozier is good. Way better than Dekker. Better than Kaminsky. Better than Cam Payne. He's talented. Good size , outstanding athleticism. Can score the basketball. He can become Eric Bledsoe. Calm down. You guys act like he passed up on anyone decent. Great job Danny.

Have you had enough of these shenanigans.

Nah, I've lived long enough to know not to make snap judgments.

We worked this guy out twice, so the Celtics saw something in him that made them pull the trigger.

If there is a trade in the works, the situation may look a lot brighter.

Rosier is a real PG, not tweener. Say what you want, but the kid is well thought of.

What has me confused is RJ Hunter is a 2, and so is Young at this point, and Bradley, and now pretty much Smart.

Something is cooking.

Make a move on Danny Ainge...no way.

What are people expecting?  Rozier was a surprise pick but obviously Danny thought he was the best player on the board.  As for the rest, you can't turn garbage picks and mediocre players into gold.  What are fans thinking anyway?

I think people are expecting Ainge to one day follow through with what he says about the draft, since pretty much every year is supposedly going to involve fireworks, and every year those fireworks seem to get cancelled.  With the exception of one freak year, Ainge has been a pretty lousy GM when it comes to getting talent on the floor.  I think people would like to see that change.

That being said, I don't see any reason to lose my mind over this draft just yet.  I don't think this team is going to field 432 guards, even though that's what it seems like it's aiming for right now.  I'm expecting one or more trades involving guards, which would explain the otherwise ridiculous drafting.

When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other.

I don't think should be fired but you Ainge nuthuggers that apologize for him no matter what are just as bad.

It's not his fault he can't do anything?  Then who's fault is it?   The price to move up is the price.  You have the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing ammo, so swallow hard and put your big boy pants on, and get it the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. done.   He said he didn't want to take 4 players yet his Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. ass and his flimsy son were too scared to move anything that would have got it done.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Sign me on letting him go.

He had all the assets in the world to move up, we didn't.

He drafted a player who can be reached in the 20's, failed to consider moving down a bit and acquire a small asset with it.

He didn't even want to gamble on two big with upside at 45, and chose yet another PG.

Accumulating assets is one thing, using it correctly is another. This draft seems.to be telling that he doesnt know how to use those assets. Give it to someone who can. I'm very disappointed with Danny Ainge tonight. I think he needs to go before he does this again next year.

Why don't some of you just pick a new team to root for? You guys act like Ainge just traded away all our assets for nothing. And we still have Smart, the worst thing that could have happened was we trade Smart to move up, drft someone who turns out to be a bust and watch Smart turn into Gary Payton for some other team.

It's Danny's fault that Charlotte inexplicably fell in love with Kaminsky at 9 and that the Heat made the smart move and took Winslow.

Yup. All his fault.

LOL. Love it.

Celticsblog is always good for sturm und drang on Draft Night. The wailing, the gnashing of teeth, the rending of garments.

This blog is an absolute dumpster fire tonight. You're allowed an opinion, but some of this is over the top.

Did people honestly expect a game changer tonight with the picks we had? There are generally about 6-7 starters per draft and we started our night at #16.

Lets just see how this summer plays out before going full retard.
