I really like this draft site, and this is an interesting new ranking that is pretty different from the consensus. It can be a bit extreme, for example I disagree with ranking Hezonja #11. But I really like Russell/Winslow>Okafor, RHJ in the lottery, WCS>Porzingis, and Kaminsky>Turner.

For the lazy, his top ten are:
Towns
Russell
Winslow
Okafor
Mudiay
WCS
Johnson
Oubre
RHJ
Kaminsky

I wouldn't drop him quite so low, but Dean does have a point: "Porzingis has a terrible assist:TOV rate, a poor rebounding rate, and is barely competent as a long range shooter."

As a shooter he's better than 'barely competent' but from the way you'd hear people talk about him, he's light's out. When in reality he was 42/117 (36%) last year, which is good for a big but hardly enough to rationally put him in the top-3 conversation.

If he falls to 16 and we've already done a deal with Miami for Stanley Johnson, I'll be slightly Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ty.

Porzingis is also almost 7-3 and 19 years old. Plus. I'm fairly certain the 3pt line he had was further than the college one. So the 36% from 3s deserves an asterisk.

Anyone else think Porzingis is the next Jan Vesely?

Both big international guys who could score inside and out but not the strongest. Vesely was a 6'11 sf as opposed to Porzngis as a 7'1 pf but they seem similar at first glance.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Is he really almost 7'3? That would drastically change my opinion of him, but ive always seen him listed as 7'0 or 7'1

Wow, hes a giant. Wonder what his reach is. Maybe he should be top 6 after all.
