An upgrade to the talent level through consolidating assets.  Be it top 10 pick, or trade for a star.

We get fireworks in Melo via three team trade with Kings.
Kings get: IT, Sully, Turner, Dallas 1st, C's 2016 1st and Wolves 1st.

NYK get: Wallace, Landry, KO, 6th pick, Brooklyn 2016 and 2018 picks.

C's draft a bunch of bigs to help (soon to get) Love on defense its Portis at 16, Christmas at 28, Richaun Holmes at 33, Jaiteh at 45.

C's sign Love, McDaniels and Ellis in FA.

Starters; Smart, AB, Melo, Love, Zeller
Bench: Pressey, Ellis, Young, McDaniels, Gigi, Portis, Holmes, Jaiteh, Christmas

Moving up without trading Smart and snagging one of Hezonja/Winslow/Johnson would probably be the best case scenario for me.

Move Bradley for a pick and trade up... Or trade out entirely

After reading all the reports, I'm pretty down on something happening today. It seems like the Celtics either don't have enough assets or aren't a destination. Very disappointed so far. My guess is that we'll trade up, but it won't be for someone everyone on this board will be excited about. It's just my opinion though. I hope I'm wrong.

Unloading Wallace tonight on a stiff GM would be the ultimate dream of mine.
Why? He's off the books in 1 year anyway when the free agent class is crazy good. We have enough cap space this offseason to sign whoever we want, anyway.

I'd be happy if we have some closure as far as who is actually going to be on this team.  For some reason I think whoever we draft might not even be on this team and the kevin love saga is going to drag on into july.

Not drafting Kelly Oubre

Moving up and getting a true impact player, not some grinder that adds little to the roster

Mario Hezonja or Jahlil Okafor would be the most fun for me. I think Mario is a better version of JR Smith and I think it would be a lot of fun to have him in Celtics green. Jahlil is a great player too, and he could easily be the next 22-10 NBA power-forward. I don't really mind if we can't get either of those guys, but they would be the most fun to have in my book.

I also like: Russel, Mudiay, and the Latvian dude; but not as high as Mario and Jahlil.

Also, seeing the Lakers miss out on Towns is fantastic, so I already feel happy....

No mistakes.

Can you specifically define what a "mistake" would be?

A bad trade more than anything.

I'll say this much. Say what you guy's will about the players we drafted, but at the very least we avoided what I would consider making a mistake.

And considering the price to move up, I think that would have been a mistake, but I would be willing to make the gamble for the player of Winslow. Not entirely, but I'd would've warmed up to it.

So in all, I'm satisfied for the time being that we avoided and Draft Day mistake. I can live with with what happened last night, moving on.
