Any thoughts? He's a pretty unlikable player but he is also a real competitor.

Hare to see Boston being a good spot for him. We would have to get a DMC, Love or LMA and then not get PP to make signing Barnes make any sense.

Surprised OKC isn't going to keep him -- seems like just the kind of guy they could use.

Charlotte is waiving him. I'm sure there will be a market for him although his playoff performance was pretty rough. He's a solid role player, definitely shouldn't be starting though. If we don't resign Crowder I wouldn't mind giving him a chance if he comes cheap.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Culture fit. Not really a Presti kind of guy.

Plus the whole, you know, legitimate beef with Ibaka thing might be something they're not willing to force the two to work through in a pivotal year for the franchise.

I hope that we keep Crowder as I think he might become a star and probably will at least get to a legit starter, almost star level. PP would be a great mentor for him as I see a lot of similarities to PP's came and what Crowder's game could be on O.

Pure salary dump.  A team with cap space or a trade exception could probably also snag Perry Jones III or Steve Novak without giving up more than a second-round pick.  Ainge seems to be more interested in cap space to go after free agents for now.
