FYI. Would think we might see some sliders. WCS certainly is one with a med issue (not necessarily sliding though). See also the tweet that follows. Maybe he slides past IND? I don't see him going 7 -10 at all.

One NBA executive: "a huge number of 1st round prospects have some type of medical red flag that will, at least, require maintenance. Scary

and

More from the exec: "I'm not sure any guys will need to have surgery immediately, but it's not the ideal way to start things off for a team"

and

Willie Cauley-Stein's draft range as wide as anyone's in the lottery. Has strong interest at 4, 5, 6, but could also slide to end of lottery

and

Some teams feel Indiana is actually higher on Trey Lyles than on Cauley-Stein. Cam Payne also an option, but not as strong as once thought.

Apparently Looney is a guy who's going to require surgery too according to a piece I just read from Chad Ford. Said it could cause him to sit a year.

He said this on Russillo earlier today offhandedly and I felt it buried the lede. That's a big deal.

Givony is terrific by the way.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

A lot of projects, potential busts, and guys with injury concerns in this draft.

Makes sense that plenty of teams are willing to trade down or out.

Of course, Ainge is an aggressive GM of a team that is short on talent, so it's not surprising he's trying to take advantage of the state of this draft.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

It would be a huge win to get him in the 2nd round.
