the first post is just a fan writing his opinion based off the berger report. It probably doesn't warrant a discussion any more than anything i write does. Don't want to confuse readers into thinking this is an actual rumor from some sort of source.

What I'm curious about ... ???

Would he play on a team with IT again.

I was under the impression they were not buds anymore

But I suppose things could have gotten better or there is no left over hard feelings ???

Cousins has to love how Tuff Smart is ......I bet he would like Smart on the same side of the ball

Where did this come from? I've never heard of any bad blood between IT and Cousins? Is this another made up story on Celtics Blog like Kevin Love going to the Lakers? ;)

If the Lakers offer me Randle and Okafor/or Towns, Im taking it...Okafor/Towns at C and Randle at the PF position would be great..and if Lakers get Cousins, they would get Rondo

Speculating on the matter, I surmise that the LAL number 2 pick is the reason why DA is trying to pry away that number 3 pick from Philly. Having that number 3 pick in a potential trade for Cousins could be the final ingredient that triggers a Bos-Sac swap...

While I get the hesitancy of building on a seemingly selfish/needy player, the Kings are fools if they think George Karl is going to get them anywhere near the top of the West.  He doesnt know how to utilize big men (see Mosgov, etc) and is way overrrated as a coach. Sac will find that out in a year and a half, and I feel sorry for them.

I also dont get the interest in Rondo if Cousins isnt there. He migt feed him endlessly in the low post...however Karl likes to run while rondo likes slow walks up the court.  Strange fits.

The more I think about it if we were to get Cousins I think it would have to be a 3 team deal as it seems like the Kings want veteran players.  This is where I think Denver could come into play.  Plus I would think Denver is more willing to hit the reset button with picks and young players.

How about something like Lawson, Faried and Zeller to the Kings.

Sully, KO, and all of our picks this year to Denver.

The Kings can put out a lineup of

Lawson/Collison
Mclemore/Stauskas
Gay/Casspi
Faried/Williams/Landry
Zeller/Thompson

And whoever they draft this year

The Nuggets go into full rebuild mode.

We then hopefully go after Love or Aldridge, re-sign Bass, and sign a backup center.

If we have to add another couple picks or take on a bad contract so be it.
