The anticipation of something happening is killing me.

Doubtful. I think everyone who might be willing to deal prefers to wait until they know for sure who is off the board (or still on).

my worry now, is if Danny becomes so involved in trying to put together a trade for Cousins--the other deals he has been working on, fall through---and we end up with Nothing being done.

I think there is a very high chance we make a deal in the next few days. Sure are blockbuster deal is probably slim but we have more picks than we can use. So does Philly. A lot of teams want to make trades, we and Phily are the teams that can help other team make trades because we can act as the cashiers. I think over 50% we make a deal this week. and 80% on that its a small deal.

Also, we made like a 100 trades this season, so anyone telling you slim chance or no chance doesn;t really know what they are talking about.. like most  of the internet.

If they're going to make a major deal, there's a good chance it happens before the draft - reason being the deal you want may not be there if another team makes a major move first.

I'm not so sure Danny makes a deal period but if he does, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it happens today.

I have a feeling Sac town comes around to realizing that we can give them a ton of stock for Boogie and it happens sometime after the start of the draft. They have to realize that they aren't going to get the middle of the road players to get good quick, you just can't out west.

Highly unlikely, but I'd never bet against Danny making a trade.

Thank God we have you around to set us straight... let me know when draft day actually comes, you know the date when deals are most likely to happen if any, and then we can talk.

Ainge surprised us by trading Rondo in December.

But I predict nothing (big) happens on draft day for Boston. Just select with our 16th pick.

If Sac ownership refuses to trade Cousins, and wants young, developed, low cost players, I can see Ainge trying to trade them AB and our 16th pick for their pick.

But I see Danny trying to trade picks with Charlotte, and then trading that pick and a player for a higher pick. I see multiple pick trades happening because it would be more enticing for a team with a higher lottery pick. I can imagine any number of different trades with different players and picks being traded. I really do not think that anyone is off the table.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Celtics ended up getting value out of being the third team in a Cousins-to-LA trade.

I'd be willing to bet that we won't see any Cousins deal, if one manifests, before August. That just seems like something that's going to last nearly the whole summer.
